Food Engineering
This is a 4 year degree program. This course provides an introduction to the principles and applications of food engineering, with a focus on the physical, chemical, and biological processes involved in food production and preservation. Students will learn about the latest technologies and techniques used in the food industry, including processing, packaging, and storage. Throughout the course, students will gain hands-on experience with various food engineering tools and technologies. Students will also participate in group discussions and presentations to gain a deeper understanding of the practical applications of food engineering principles.
Course OVERVIEW
Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:
- Understand the fundamental principles of food engineering
- Analyze and evaluate different food processing and preservation technologies
- Design and implement food engineering solutions
- Understand the principles of food quality control and food safety
- Apply food engineering principles to the development of new food products
